Staff transport and employee shuttles

Staff transport is the opposite of an outing: the same route, the same time, every day. The value is not in the individual vehicle but in the fact that it is there at 05:40 every morning.

Dependability is the whole service

On an employee shuttle only one thing counts: that it runs. So we work with dedicated vehicles and, as far as possible, with dedicated drivers on a route. People know the route, the stops and the faces — that is what makes the difference in black ice and diversions.

We keep a replacement ready for breakdowns. If one vehicle cannot go, another does; the route stands, not the bus. That is the practical advantage of an own fleet over a broker who would have to start looking when it matters.

A shift change at four in the morning, a late shift until midnight, weekend running: all normal. What is not normal for us are routes that change every week — then we would rather talk about a different solution than promise you something.

What such a service looks like

  • Collection routesSeveral stops in the residential area, one destination at the site. Vehicle size follows the numbers, not the brochure.
  • Connection to public transportFrom the nearest S-Bahn station to the works gate. Short route, high frequency, often with minibuses.
  • Site-to-site linkBetween two parts of the operation, several times a day. Easy to plan and easy to bill.
  • Construction site servicesFixed-term, often at short notice, usually early. For us a question of dispatch, not of willingness.

Air conditioning, Wi-Fi and seats you can still close your eyes on at five in the morning.

Billing that gets through accounts

Staff transport is not ordered one journey at a time; it runs. So we bill it under a framework agreement: fixed terms per route and operating day, one collective invoice a month, with a cost centre or purchase order number per line if you want.

For tenders we provide the usual documentation — the licence under the German Passenger Transport Act, confirmation of insurance, the tax exemption certificate and, on request, the inspection records of the vehicles in use.

Payment terms are as for all our customers: invoice after the service, usually seven days. On running contracts we can talk about longer terms if your accounts department needs them.

Same vehicles, same faces

Someone who drives the same route knows it in the snow as well.

Common questions

From how many employees is a shuttle worth it?

From around 15 to 20 people per journey. Below that a travel allowance is usually cheaper — we are happy to work it through with you, even if the answer is that you do not need us.

Does the driver stay the same?

As far as holidays and illness allow: yes. Fixed allocation to routes is the rule with us, because it makes the operation noticeably calmer.

What happens if a vehicle breaks down?

Another one runs. We hold a reserve, because a staff shuttle without a replacement plan is not a staff shuttle but a promise.

Can you run for a limited period only?

Yes, for instance during construction work or a relocation. Fixed-term services are as normal for us as ongoing ones.
