Christmas lights tour of Berlin in your own bus
In Advent, Berlin is at its best after dark: lights in the trees, the big tree at the Brandenburg Gate, the Christmas markets. With us you do not get a seat on a tour – you get the whole bus, with your start time, your route and pick-up right at your office or hotel. Lights tours start from €349.
A lights tour for your group – not a tour with tickets
The public lights tours sell seats: a fixed departure, a fixed route, strangers on board. That rarely suits a Christmas party. You want to set off together, at your own time, and end up where dinner is.
With us you hire the bus and its driver for the evening. We pick you up at the office, the hotel or a meeting point and drop you at your venue afterwards. And we are a bus company with our own vehicles – not an agent buying the bus in from somebody else.
How a lights tour works with us
About two to three hours with one stop. All of it can be changed – start time, order, stops, destination.

Pick-up at your office or hotel
We set off as soon as it is dark – in December from around 4.30 pm. We collect you wherever you are, from several points if you like.

Kurfürstendamm and Tauentzienstraße
The lights in the trees, the decorated shop windows and the Christmas market at the Memorial Church.

Charlottenburg Palace
The Christmas market in front of the illuminated palace is our favourite stop for mulled wine. The bus waits until everyone is back.

Victory Column and Brandenburg Gate
Along Straße des 17. Juni to the Gate, where the big Christmas tree stands during Advent.

Unter den Linden
The lime trees are strung with lights in Advent, with the State Opera, the Cathedral and Museum Island lit up in the evening.

Red Town Hall and Alexanderplatz
The Christmas market at the Red Town Hall, the TV tower in the dark – and then we take you to wherever the party is.
The lights from above – on the heated upper deck
The double-decker has a full panoramic windscreen at the front, and the upper deck is heated. There is no better seat for a lights tour.
Add a guide and mulled wine
On request a city guide comes along and tells you what lies behind the lights – over the public address system, which we check before the trip. That costs from €190 per tour; we quote the exact price with your offer.
We can organise mulled wine as well if you like. Mention it when you enquire and we will build it into the evening.

Lights tours crowd into the four weeks between late November and 23 December, and within those into the Thursday to Saturday evenings. The larger vehicles go quickly then. If your Christmas party is already planned, it is best to book the bus at the same time.

Yes, we organise it on request. Mention it when you enquire and we will plan it in.
Is the upper deck of the double-decker warm?
Yes, the upper deck is heated. You see the lights through the panoramic windscreen without freezing.
When do the lights tours run?
During Advent, from late November until just before Christmas. We set off as soon as it is dark – in December from around 4.30 pm. Other dates by arrangement.
Can we go straight on to our Christmas party afterwards?
Yes. We drop you at the restaurant or venue – and pick you up again later if you wish.
For how many people?
From 8 to 90 people in one bus. For larger groups several buses drive the same circuit.
Do you sell individual tickets for the lights tour?
No. We hire out the whole bus with its driver to one group. We do not run public lights tours with individual seats.
