Cancellation and changes
Up to 14 days before departure, cancelling costs nothing. After that it gets more expensive on a sliding scale — here are the figures, so you do not have to look for them in the small print.

Cancellation deadlines
Counted from the agreed departure time.
| When you cancel | Share of the fare |
|---|---|
| earlier than 14 days before | free of charge |
| 13 days to 48 hours before | 35 per cent |
| later than 48 hours before | 75 per cent |
Why the scale looks like this
A bus that has been confirmed is no longer available to anyone else. The closer the date comes, the smaller the chance of using the vehicle and the scheduled driver elsewhere. The scale reflects exactly that — it is not a penalty but compensation for a day that stays empty.
That is also why it is not negotiable once the date is close. What is negotiable: the alternative. On a late cancellation we try to sell the slot on — and if that works, we credit it.
Force majeure is something else than a cancellation. If a journey falls through for reasons nobody is responsible for, we talk about it rather than holding up a table.
A blocked bus drives for nobody else
Hence the scale — not as a penalty, but as compensation.

Change rather than cancel
As long as a suitable vehicle is free, moving the date costs nothing. That applies at short notice too. So if you are unsure whether the date will hold: book anyway and move it later, rather than waiting until nothing is free.
Changing vehicle is possible as well. If 40 participants suddenly become 60, we swap the coach for the next size up and settle the difference. It works the other way too — if the group shrinks, we use the smaller vehicle and the price drops.
Changes to times, routes and intermediate stops are possible at any time anyway, as long as the driving hours allow. Just tell us as soon as you know.
What does not count as a cancellation
- Fewer participantsThe price depends on the vehicle, not the head count. Someone dropping out costs nothing extra.
- A changed timeAs long as the day stays the same and the driving hours work, that is a change, not a new booking.
- Additional stopsRecalculated if they extend the operating hours. Beforehand, not afterwards.
- Moving the dateFree of charge, as long as a suitable vehicle is available.
Better to book early
Moving a booking is easier than finding anything at all in high season.

Common questions
How do I cancel?
By email to your contact, or by phone followed by written confirmation. What counts is the moment the cancellation reaches us.
Is there a deposit that is forfeited?
No, we do not normally ask for a deposit. If one is agreed on a very large booking, the arrangement is set out in the quote.
What happens in a strike, storm or road closure?
We drive when it is responsible to do so, and otherwise look for an alternative. If a journey falls through for reasons nobody is responsible for, we talk about a fair solution rather than about the table.
Can I change to a smaller bus?
Yes, as long as one is free. The price then follows the vehicle actually used.
