What does it cost to hire a bus?
There is no fixed price per bus, because no two journeys are the same. What there is: six factors every price is made of — and you can read them here before you start calculating.

The six price factors
They come into play in this order.
- Vehicle sizeA Sprinter costs less than a double-decker. But note: the difference is smaller than many expect — a large part of the price is staff, not metal.
- Kilometres drivenFuel, wear and tolls follow the route. On round trips the legs between stops count too.
- Hours in serviceOften a bigger lever than the distance. A bus waiting on site for eight hours is tied up for eight hours — driver included.
- Day of the week and seasonFriday and Saturday cost more than Tuesday. In early summer, the high season for school trips, demand is higher.
- Multi-day tripsWith overnight stays, accommodation and allowances for the driver are added. We book the accommodation for you on request.
- Abroad and tollsRoad tolls, low-emission zones and vignettes differ by country and go straight into the calculation.
What the price contains
Driver, fuel, insurance, Wi-Fi and cleaning — in every quote.

What is included and what can be added
Everything in the left-hand column is in every quote, at no surcharge.
| Always included | Can be added |
|---|---|
| Driver | Waiting beyond the agreed hours |
| Fuel | Overnight stay for the driver on multi-day trips |
| Insurance | Parking fees and access permits |
| Wi-Fi on board | On-board service with drinks |
| Cleaning after the journey | Extra cleaning after celebrations |
| Live tracking | Tolls and vignettes abroad |
A price in one minute
Enter the route, pick a bus, get a quote. Usually straight away.
The service first, then the invoice
Normally you do not pay in advance. The invoice is usually due seven days after the trip — by bank transfer or credit card.
For schools, clubs and public bodies that is often the decisive point: nobody has to pay up front or advance a budget that is only approved later.
Business customers with recurring journeys get collective invoices and fixed terms.
If something changes
Up to 14 days before departure you cancel free of charge. From 13 days to 48 hours beforehand we charge 35 per cent, after that 75 per cent.
Changing the booking is almost always better than cancelling. If only the date moves, tell us — as long as a vehicle is free, it costs nothing.
One bus instead of ten cars
From around ten people, your own bus almost always adds up.

Common questions
Why do you not quote "from" prices?
Because they would mislead. A "from" price applies to the cheapest conceivable case — short route, Tuesday, no waiting. Most enquiries look different. Instead the calculator gives you the real price for your trip, usually straight away.
Is the driver included in the price?
Yes, always. We do not rent out buses without a driver.
What happens with waiting time?
Short waits are in the calculation. If the bus waits considerably longer than agreed, the extra time is charged — we tell you beforehand from what point.
Can I pay by invoice?
Yes, that is the norm. The invoice comes after the trip.
