BER airport transfer for groups
At BER a group transfer comes down to two things: whether the bus is there on time and whether the group can find it. We build in a buffer and send you the number plate and the driver’s phone number in advance.

How the transfer runs
- 01
Flight number, not a clock time
Give us the flight number. We set the pick-up by the actual landing, not by the schedule.
- 02
Number plate in advance
On the day you get the number plate, the vehicle type and the driver’s number. That is enough to find each other in a busy arrivals hall.
- 03
Live tracking from 30 minutes out
Position, estimated arrival and number plate in one view. No download, just a link.
- 04
Stopping in the right place
BER has fixed positions for coaches. We tell you exactly where beforehand — that saves twenty minutes of searching on the day.
Waiting time is planned for, not a surprise
Flights run late, baggage belts take longer than expected, and passport control cannot be planned. So for transfers from BER we always allow a buffer and put the waiting time in the quote as a separate line. That way you know in advance what an hour’s delay costs, instead of finding out afterwards.
For departures it works the other way round: we collect earlier than you would calculate yourself. A group of 50 simply takes longer at check-in than a family, and a missed flight is more expensive than an hour of waiting in the terminal.
For arrivals from outside the EU we allow extra time for border control. Tell us where the flight comes from when you enquire.
At the terminal
We stand where buses are allowed to stand — and tell you beforehand where that is.

What groups book the transfer for
- Incoming groupsTour operators and agencies bringing a group from the terminal to the hotel. With a name sign on request.
- Company travelThe team flies together and the bus takes everyone to the site or the trade fair. Billed by invoice.
- Sports and music groupsPlenty of luggage, often bulky. The underfloor hold of a coach takes considerably more than several vans.
- Cruise connectionsFrom BER onward to Warnemünde or Kiel. That is a full day’s stage and needs working out beforehand.
On the way into the city
From BER to Mitte takes 40 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.

Common questions
What happens if the flight is delayed?
We set the pick-up by the actual landing if you give us the flight number. The bus waits. Waiting time is a separate line in the quote, so you know in advance what you are dealing with.
Where exactly does the bus stand at BER?
At the designated bus positions. Which one applies to your terminal we send you the day before, together with the number plate and phone number.
Does the luggage of a whole travel group fit in?
In a coach, reckon on one suitcase plus hand luggage per person at full occupancy. Double-deckers take more. If there is a lot of special luggage, tell us beforehand and we will plan for it.
Do you also collect at night or very early?
Yes. Early departures and night arrivals are the norm for group travel and no special case for us.
